Christmas Gala

On December 6, 2023, at 6:30 P.M., the Saint Pio Foundation will host a reception, concert, award ceremony, and dinner at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, located at 18 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10012.

During the event the Adelia Award will be presented to Larry Forgione, "The GodFather of American Cuisine," Marc Forgione, "Iron Chef of America," and Joe Piscopo, star alumnus of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," actor, musician, comedian, writer, and radio host, in recognition of their outstanding support for the Saint Pio Foundation and serving as extraordinary examples of providing relief from suffering to those in need.

Master of Ceremonies will be Rita Cosby, Emmy-Winning TV Host, Radio Host & Best-Selling Author. Special performing guests will be Giada Valenti, award-winning singer and songwriter, and Mike Marino, comedian.

Proceeds from the event will support the “Christmas Challenge”, a project that each year provides more than 10,000 free boxes of food to needy and struggling families in the metropolitan area of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Denver, Cleveland, Boston, and New Orleans, enabling recipients to make their own Christmas meal. The contents of each box will provide all the necessary ingredients and food products to prepare “pasta with tomato sauce,” the most important Italian dish in the world.
